Mary MacPherran received her super-powers from Dr Doom in the first Secret Wars mini-series. Her enormous strength rivals (or in some descriptions even exceeds) that of She-Hulk, who became her nemesis. She was also part of the Masters Of Evil and the Frightful Four, was a longtime partner and lover of The Absorbing Man and has a deep sitting fear of Spider-Man.
She was created by Jim Shooter and Mike Zeck.
