Queen of the Concrete Jungle, Fierce Female Fury– Jung-La is a member of Captain Evening and The Odds from my comics series Tales To Behold, appearing in printed issues 5 and 6. Here are some of my favorite images of her, for those of you who don't know her, and especially for those who do know her!
Jung-La is an jungle themed super-heroine who fights crime in NYC swinging from vines.
Why there are vines in NY is not really explained. Here are a few pics of her, by yours truly and some friends.
I imagine she did go to the jungle at some point, for training purposes.
This was the first appearance of Jung-La as such, in Tales To Behold 5. Really gung-ho about this super-hero thing!
A few more images by friends and me. Click to find out more. There is also a story by Gwynplainest, where he imagines her origin.
Before she was a superhero, she was a police sheriff. Below you can see her first appearance in her civilian form
Her first encounter with Captain Evening was a but rocky.
More Jung-Las! Thanks so much to everyone who drew her!
This might be my favorite image of hers, by MAYGUSTA Really captures he so well!
In my current storyline, Jung-La and the rest of The Odds have disappeared… but she will be back! In the meantime, she is part of cyberkitten01's comic Kate Five right now, so make sure to check that out, too!
Any fan-art and tributes are of course always welcome, and will be posted and credited.
Thanks for checking out Jung-La!

Special Offer at Print Shop
Here's a look at my new print shop at Inprnt. It has a pretty nice, simple design. I won't overdo it with the uploads, but am offering some pieces that have not been in my gallery, or not until now. https://www.inprnt.com/gallery/cosmicbeholder/ The site has some special offers going on right now, and I'm adding my own: First one from DA who orders a print will get a simple bust commission of a character for free (digital file only). The quality of the prints is great, and it comes with a super legit framing if needed. As I'm navigating some difficult waters with my health and financial situation (as many do on this site), if you would consider checking it out I would be very grateful! Also, new Commissions are Open!

Essential Fantastic Four
I’m making progress with my Pandemic Endeavour to read the first two decades of the original Fantastic Four.
It started with a couple Marvel Essentials that i never got around to finish, and then I hunted down all of them. In b/w, I get to appreciate all that terrific inking of the late Joe Sinnott!
I could write in length about my likes and discoveries, but for now I just wanted to mention how much I appreciate Rich Buckler’s art now (I always loved Kirby and Buscema), The Thing has become my favorite of all super-heroes, and I’m just reaching the Counter-World Saga, which I’m very excited about!

Swinging THROUGH a helicopter and kicking a super villainess OUT of it's windshield?
That is a BADASS "Hey, how are ya!"
